Now, it\u2019s the standard word for medication used to cure all kinds of headaches. In reality, it is a drug known as Acetylsalicyclic acid (ASA) often used to cure pain, fever and inflammation.<\/p>\n

3. Ping-Pong<\/strong><\/p>\n

The recreational sport is actually a brand of table tennis products launched in 1901 that was named for the sound the ball makes when it\u2019s hit back and forth.<\/p>\n

4. Photoshop<\/strong><\/p>\n

The photo editing software by Adobe systems is now popularly used as a term to describe anything that is unreal, fictional, modified or altered.<\/p>\n

5. Jacuzzi<\/strong><\/p>\n

This generic name for jet massaging hot tubs, is actually an American multinational corporation that makes mattresses and toilets.<\/p>\n

The most commonly used name to heal minor cuts is actually a line of adhesive bandages manufactured by pharmaceutical giant, Johnson & Johnson.<\/p>\n

The presentation and graphic program, part of the many services offered by Microsoft, has become a popular word for presenting information in a visual format.<\/p>\n
