Awfis has leased a whopping 75,000 sq ft area in Indore in line with the company’s aim to meet the burgeoning demand for workspaces in tier 2 markets across the nation.

Situated in the commercial business district of Indore, the two centres are located at Winway World Offices and Brilliant Sapphire in Vijay Nagar. Awfis doubled the Vijay Nagar centre capacity to meet the demand of  600+ seats spread across 59,000 sq ft for leading IT and consulting firm, owing to its rapid expansion in the city.

Awfis centres in Indore are a testament to the growing demand of flex workspaces in Tier 2 markets as Indian Corporates and MNCs facilitate hybrid working and work near home for employees, hence, moving closer to their workforce and available talent pool in these emerging metros.

The Awfis environment provides a unique amalgamation of different workstyles. Each centre delivers a balance of enclosed areas where large teams can work together in a focused atmosphere while at the same time offering collaborative settings, meeting lounges, phone booths, and café areas for large and small interactions in a non-intrusive fashion. The first centre in Indore went live in June 2022.

Commenting on this launch, Amit Ramani, Founder & CEO, Awfis said, “With tier 2 city’s current growth trajectory only moving upwards, it makes for an exciting time for Awfis to support the evolving economy and the budding workforce in these markets. It gives us immense pleasure to announce our new centres in Indore driven by the adoption of the hub-and-spoke model by large organizations and reverse migration of employees to their hometowns.”

“We are witnessing a robust demand for coworking spaces in Tier 2 cities amongst large scale enterprises in the IT/ITeS, telecom, and consulting industries and this trend is going to continue in the foreseeable future as well” he added.

The centre located at Winway provides a focused workspace with adequate privacy and security especially to the mid-sized cohorts from MNCs, SMEs, and mid corporates.

In line with its expansion plans in emerging metros, Awfis intends to open 3-4 new centres over the next 12 months in Indore.

At the back of strong demand for flex workspaces, Awfis has now built the largest coworking network in the country with 131 centres and 77,500+ seats across 14 cities and will continue to strengthen its foothold across India to establish a network of 200 centres by end of 2022.
