With the COVID-19 pandemic easing considerably, the pressure built up around ‘Return to Office’ became one of the most trending and debatable topics of 2022. To discuss this, we invited many industry experts to evaluate what has emerged as the most viable solution for many corporates globally – the newly emerged work models of ‘Hybrid Working’ & ‘Distributed Working’. This along with surge in flex workspace leasing activity, evolving customer behavior, expansion in Tier 2 markets owing to ‘reverse migration’ of the workforce, innovations in workplace to attract top talent and adoption of sustainable workplaces were some of the hot topics that we explored in detail this year through our podcasts, webinars, reports, conversations and articles.

Another interesting point of discussion in our conversations with Founders & CEOs of new age companies revolved around the need for transforming the workplace environment to accommodate the convergence of five generations in the workplace where the upcoming generation of workforce – ‘Gen Zs’ will co-exist with the previous generations in the same office spaces leading to anticipated challenges around collaboration and flexibility.

With the effects of pandemic fading gradually, we also discussed the effect of it on the mental & emotional well-being of employees with popular author & motivational speaker, Aparna Piramal Raje. This conversation was an eye-opener as we explored many dimensions of psychological safety at workplace and how toxic workplaces not just hamper individual productivity but also overall growth of the company.
